UK police have arrested four people on suspicion of assisting the Iranian intelligence services in relation to suspected surveillance of the Jewish community in London.

Counter-terror police made the arrests in the early hours of Friday morning, apprehending one Iranian and three dual British-Iranian nationals at addresses in Barnet and Watford, the Metropolitan Police said.

“The investigation relates to suspected surveillance of locations and individuals linked to the Jewish community in the London area,” the police said.

This is a developing story.
