Facilities such as land, compensation, enhanced compensation, house construction expenses, plots, and financial assistance for house construction are being provided to them.
Compensation Offered
He added that 360 project-affected persons who opted for the 12.5 per cent developed plot scheme have been declared eligible as per the government resolution dated April 9, 2025. Development charges are levied for these plots, and the fee has been reduced from ₹64 per sq ft to ₹50 per sq ft.
Since some project-affected persons requested additional time to pay the charges, the government has extended the payment deadline till March 31, Shelar said.
He also noted that training arrangements have been put in place to ensure employment opportunities for local residents with companies operating in MIHAN. Certificates have been issued to eligible project-affected persons under the five per cent job reservation, and these certificates have been made transferable to the next generation, he added.
