Prizes below Rs. 5,000 can be claimed from any authorised Kerala lottery shop.
Prizes above Rs. 5,000 must be claimed at the District Lottery Office or approved nationalised/cooperative banks with:
- Original winning ticket
- Valid ID proof
- Duly filled claim form
As per Income Tax Act Section 194B, a 30% TDS applies to prizes above Rs. 10,000. Additionally, a 10% agent commission is deducted under Kerala lottery rules.
The prize amount is credited after barcode verification using the Kerala lottery barcode scanner system, introduced to prevent fraud.
