In a post on Truth Social, he wrote, “Effective immediately, any Country doing business with the Islamic Republic of Iran will pay a Tariff of 25% on any and all business being done with the United States of America.”Iranian foreign minister Abbas Araghchi warned Trump to “not repeat the same mistake that you did in June” during a Fox News interview.Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian had earlier accused the United States and Israel of attempting to destabilise Iran by fomenting unrest.
